Junior Explorers: Bug Detectives

<p dir="ltr">Meet some mini-beasts and find out fun and fascinating facts about these environmental heroes!</p><p dir="ltr">Meet some of the Environment Centre’s resident insects and other mini-beasts at a fun bug show, then test out your detective skills on a short walk investigating bugs and their habitats. What will we find living nearby? Join this one-of-a-kind school holiday activity to discover fascinating facts about bugs and other mini-beasts and find out why these amazing animals are nature’s superheroes!</p><p dir="ltr">This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity, <a href="mailto:DCBC%40brisbane.qld.gov.au" dir="ltr">send an email</a>.</p><p dir="ltr"><b><strong>On the day:</strong></b></p><ul><li value="1" dir="ltr">Arrive 10 minutes before starting time to check in with staff at the Environment Centre.</li><li value="2" dir="ltr">All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult.</li><li value="3" dir="ltr">Wear sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed shoes, and bring sunscreen and insect repellent.</li><li value="4" dir="ltr">Bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site.</li></ul><b><strong>Note:</strong></b>&nbsp;This event will go ahead in light rain. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
